Break down anxiety is a main reason people do not drive classic cars. Old and worn out systems will leave you stranded. Constant maintenance is part of classic car ownership. Traditional automotive repair shops and technicians who work on classics are getting harder to find. Converting to EV provides a simple and virtually maintenance free solution.

What is included in the kit?

Our kits ship with all the main components needed to modernize your classic car. Chassis are rolling with frame, suspension, adjustable shocks and springs, motors, batteries, charge systems, display, controller, power steering, brake lines, brake booster, pedals, AC and Heat.

WHat are the benefits of buying flxx deck?

High Voltage: The FLXX Deck Solution eliminates High Voltage Danger! All of the FLXX Deck High Voltage connections are sealed and fully contained. There is no danger for the installer or the end user.

Flexibility: The modular and adjustable frame allows the end user to make design changes to suit on site. Adjustable springs and shocks allow for ride height and ride quality changes during and after assembly.

Integrated Systems: Most EV conversions utilize Batteries, BMS, DCDC, Level 2 Charging, and Level 3 Charging systems from separate suppliers. These components are very difficult to integrate together. Along with battery box designing, building and fitting, this is the most complex and time consuming part of the build. It also is the greatest weakness with multiple points of failure. We eliminate all of this by using the intact Tesla battery which contains all of these systems ready to run.

why is the frame modular and adjustable?

We aim to provide kits for the widest range of classic vehicles possible. Having a modular and adjustable frame allows for changes to be made on site. We will build the chassis as close to your vehicles measurements as possible.

how is it serviced?

Using off of the shelf components from Tesla, Toyota, QA1, Eibach etc. allows for easy serviceability. Standard parts are available locally everywhere and can be replaced by any local mechanic.

whAT IF THE BATTERY OR MOTORS FAIL YEARS LATER?

Using the complete Tesla battery and not rebuilding it allows the end user to replace it in only two hours at any local mechanic shop. This is a HUGE step forward for EV conversions. Typical conversions entail repackaging the battery, which means it must be shipped back to the original builder at a great expense for repair. Tesla batteries and motors are available new from Tesla or Used from any local dismantler.

do you sell vehicles or supply bodies?

No. At Flxx Deck our focus is on building rolling ready to run chassis’. Selling to automotive shops and DIYers, we provide the easiest solution to convert to EV or replace worn out and rotten Petrol.

do you install bodies and do restoration work?

No. We ship our ready to run kits to you or your local shop. We can help source a reputable local shop to help with your project and provide guidance.

Who can buy our chassis kit?

Only licensed restoration shops, mechanics and EV conversion shops are able to purchase from us. DIYers must purchase through one of the above.
